I really look forward to meeting with the folks at my local library for a jewelry workshop twice a month. I try to bring something new each time. A technique or material that will spark their interest. Well, last night I was thinking, thinking, about what to do today…and it hit me! A sari silk wrap bracelet! Another opportunity to use up all those yards and yards of ribbon. It’s young, hip, and easy to do. Each one will take a bit over one yard of ribbon to wrap around the wrist five times. They can tie on some bead charms with knots. Tie on a handmade wire hook to one end (this was a previous lesson) and a bit of chain to the other end. Voila!
